Gilbert Charles Paquin
Fairfax – A largely attended funeral service for Gilbert Charles Paquin, who passed away Friday, September 14, 2007, was held on Wednesday, September 19, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. at the family farm, “Pleasant Acres.” Leader of the service was Kevin Lendway, Minister of the Cambridge congregation of The Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall.
In attendance was a large delegation from Vermont Student Assistance Corporation, Burt Paquin Ford, Paquin Motors and North Country Nissan.

Casket bearers were Gilbert’s son, Dylan, future son-in-law, James St. Pierre, nephews; Nicholas Guertin, Christopher Heald, Andrew Gross and Zachary Gross, brother-in-law, Kevin Gross and close family friends; Steven Clokey and Jeffrey Clokey.
Private interment services followed at the family lot in Fairfax Plains Cemetery, with favorite scriptures being read by the family and then fond memories were shared. A luncheon followed at “Pleasant Acres” hosted by the “Kitchen Fairies”, Kim Williams, Lindsay Ryan, Nancy Hurt, Nancy Mead, Louise Webb, Marie Keefe, Denise Cota, Cheryl Boissoneault, Jill Cleary Mackey, and their spouses and countless others who pitched in to help the day go smoothly. A special thanks to Orin Tilton, Brian Durett, Tom Cook, Bob Covey and Bob Brown for their assistance for the service. Assisting Gilbert’s family is the staff of the Heald Funeral Home of St. Albans.
