January 4, 2017 opened the new biennium. The work this week entailed the formalities of starting a fresh session. Oaths of Office were administered to those of us elected to serve and Committee assignments were announced. I was privileged to be reassigned to the Transportation Committee and look forward to addressing the needs of Fairfax and Vermont in that area.
