Ruth H. AugerAge: 90 • Fairfax Ruth H. Auger age 90 passed peacefully on January 19, 2017 at the Northwestern Medical Center in Saint Albans VT.Ruth was born on November 8, 1926 in Waltham MA., the daughter of Fritz and Hannah (Norstrom) Johnson. She was married to Lewis Alonzo Hartwell "Buck" who passed away in 1978. She later married J. Armand Auger, whom she was married to for over 23 years. Armand passed away in 2003. Ruth was employed by Packaging Concepts in Lincoln Rhode Island as a bonding technician until her retirement at the age of 73. She moved to Fairfax, Vermont to live with her granddaughter Christina Carter in 2004. Ruth and her cat, Bobbi eventually made their home with dear friends and caregivers, Kevin Pontbriand and Cheryl Moore of Fairfax Vermont. Ruth is survived by her son Lewis Buckley Hartwell "Bucky" and wife Melonie of Shelburne Vermont and daughter Audrey Anderson with husband Steve of San Diego California. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. Ruth was predeceased by her brothers David, Conrad, Henry, and Sigvard Johnson. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday January 24, 2017 at the Minor Funeral and Cremation Center in Milton from 4-7pm with a service held at 7pm. Ruth will be buried in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI., Wednesday Jan. 25, 2017 at 1pm. Online condolences may be made to
