Hi All,

Sent a note to Sharon Meyer to see if there are any official records in this area as to when the first frost occurs each year.  I used to plan on September 10th as the average time of the first frost up here when I had a garden.  Any of you old time gardeners keep a record of such a thing??

Henry;

I had a frost here about 2 weeks ago.  Had to go out early in the am to water tomatoes and other plants.

My sister frosted her hair Saturday night, but you can't really count that.

Nothing here in the Waterbury area yet either.  Was a threat a few weeks ago....but nothing came of it.

I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.

I had a light frost that night off of Buck Hollow Road 2-3 weeks ago as well.  Nothing since.  The garden is still going strong.
