Well, the weather is beautiful and the crowds shouldn't be as big in the middle of the week, so its off to the Islands today. I believe the first thing we will look for is:
Now I am told they have great cider donuts up at Vallencourts in Enosburg, but believe they have only one place that has them. What if they are out??? Its a long trip from Enosburg to the Islands. I know of two places up in the Islands that have cider donuts, so hopefully won't have to drive to the place in Waterbury that makes them.
Maryann did mention getting some apples while we are there, so will probably get a few and make some Apple Crisp. That will taste pretty good warm, with some vanilla ice cream on it.
