The Breeze

There is probably no need for this message, since I have not published the Breeze in the past two weeks. But, to make it official, The Fairfax Breeze is no more. I have spent some time trying to find a way to keep it alive, to no avail. It is just not economically feasible at this time.

Thanks to those of you who supported me in this endeavor, including the selectboard, a few select advertisers, and a handful of locals who dropped me notes of encouragement. Those emails and phone calls meant more than you know.

While the business end of the venture fell short of its mark, there were many personal rewards to be found. I met a number of great people in around the town, and that only served to reaffirm my belief that Fairfax is a great place to live and work and raise a family.
