I realize this might be the reality we live in, but it makes me sad.  The school has always been the heart of Fairfax.  I ran around in there at all hours of the day growing up.  (I never caused any trouble, I promise!)  I love the comparison of the school to a barn!  I'm a librarian right now, and understand the need to supervise the patrons, especially the young ones, so I certainly can understand.
