Fletcher - Orison Cleon Tinker, 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Franklin County Rehab in St. Albans. Orison was born in Fletcher on November 8, 1927 son of the late Cleon and Pearl (White) Tinker.

He was in partnership with his brother Reginald operating the Tinker Farm for many years. He enjoyed maple sugaring. During his retirement he enjoyed traveling, gardening and was a skilled woodworker, making many pieces of beautiful furniture. He also loved to sit in his recliner and watch NASCAR.

Orison is survived by his sister Evelyn Manley, nephews, Gary Tinker and Sharon, Craig Tinker, Bruce Boozan and Kathy, Paul Boozan and Vicki, Dean Boozan and Martha, nieces Patricia Root and Eastman, Marjorie Rainville, Dianne Griffiths and Kathy Manley. A special great nephew Jason Tinker and Jennifer and daughters Lydia and Heidi lived next door. Also several other great nieces and nephews.

Orison was also predeceased by his brother Reginald Tinker his wife Marion, a sister Rita Scott her husband Ralph, a sister Corrine Boozan and her husband Richard, his brother-in-law Phillip Manley and his nephew Robert Scott

Visiting hours will be private. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the family lot in Binghamville Cemetery with Reverend Mike Thorpe offering prayers. Masks and social distancing will be required. Memorial contributions in Orison’s memory may be made to Cambridge Rescue, P.O. Box 431, Jeffersonville, Vt, 05464.
