Help NWMC Get A Free MRI

Hi All,

Normally I don't do this, but I received a note from Bob Bessette, lifelong dedicated Fairfax Resident regarding the possibility that Northwest Medical Center could possibly get a free MRI if they get enough votes. What do you have to do to vote?? Just watch the whole video, after which you will be allowed to vote. After you click on the link, click the search and click on Northwestern Medical Center - It takes a while to load and when I was up there, it had been viewed 259 times and had only 21 votes. We will need to do better than that. The choice is up to you. Below is the note Bob sent me:

Yes, this sounds a little crazy, but NMC actually has a chance to win a free fixed-site MRI from Siemens Medical.

So now, we need your help to actually help us win!

Here’s the scoop: Siemens asked us to submit a 2-minute video describing why we wanted to win. We created a “slightly twisted” video describing our situation, and thanks to our Friends at Channel 15 (public access TV), were able to edit the video into the format Siemens needed. They’ve posted it on their website (along with currently 9 others from around the county—but there’s still time for others to join the contest) at www.winanmri.com. Each computer can view our video and vote one time each day help support our campaign to win. The more votes we get, the better our chance of winning (Remember what the Simpsons did for Springfield earlier this year?)

One strategy for spreading the word has been for employees to send the link to their home email accounts and send it out to all in your address book from there. We need everyone’s help to ensure our success! You have to view the 2 minute video, and then the grey “vote” button will turn orange when it is available for voting.

Please help us improve our environment of care for these exams and save our hospital money by voting, and sharing this information with your friends and family. Remember to vote—as often as 1x per day!
