In regards to State Police vs Sheriff's Chris Santee posted the following calculation under Current Events and Isaac Olsons Article:

The numbers on the Town Warning for the Sheriff come out to (approx):
$39 per hour for the Sheriff, versus
$42 per hour for State Police.

  Just would like to point out the Rescuse Squad is requesting a significantly less amount this year.  
   For 2005 they are requesting  $7,786    Article 9
   Much less than 2004's $14,205   Article 7  and  $56,160   Article 8.   TOTALING $70,365
