BURLINGTON -- The Burlington Police Department says it has received complaints of a possible phone scam in which elderly women are receiving calls from a male who asks them for Medicaid information, specifically their Medicaid number.

The male has not identified himself or the company he works for.

Police are reminding people not to give out personal information over the phone.
