Police nabbed a wanted man following a high speed chase across Franklin County Sunday night.

Police tried to stop 27 year-old Chad Tucker in Fairfax but he took off, leading police on a dangerous pursuit down Route 104. Tucker's girlfriend and a ten month-old baby were inside. And police say he was swerving toward oncoming traffic.

His vehicle eventually broke down in Georgia, but Tucker was not ready to give up. He took off running. Police were able to catch the Burlington man, who has been on the lam for two months now. He's on furlough for a cocaine charge. Police call him a career criminal. He faces a slew of new charges including escape, child cruelty, and reckless endangerment.
