With two candles crossed and placed on the throat of each parishioner that came forward to have their throat blessed, Father Rome and Deacon Steve Ratte said the following words:
"Through the intercession of St. Blaise, bishop and martyr, may God deliver you from every disease of the throat and from every other illness, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."
St. Luke's Parishioners are shown above as they await the opportunity to have their throat blessed by either Father Rome or Deacon Steve Ratte after the 11 a.m. Mass.
