As I walked the dog this Sunday morning, a town truck came by sanding the road.  It made me realize that those men have been working pretty much round the clock this week in miserable conditions.  I just want to let them all know that we appreciate what they do to kee the roads both open and safe!  They certainly are the unsung heroes of our community.  I mentioned it in church this morning during 'joys' and everyone nodded their heads in agreement!
Thank you all for a job well done!

Yes, the road crew does an amazing job here in town. I work in Waterbury, coming home early in the morning, and Fairfax roads are usually the best-cared for out of the 6 towns that I travel through! In addition, the school bus drivers, Fire Dept, and Rescue Squad also deserve a thank you for being willing to go out in all sorts of weather!

thank the road crew the rest of us could not get out if they didn't do what they do. Donald and the boys always come running anytime the fire department needs them.
