"I've lived in Vermont all my life, yet these past 20 years or so, I've always thought of Westford as bucolic farms or countryside retreats for the white-collar workers of Chittenden County.

It never occured to me that an area with so much sustainable land for gardens, farming etc....should have the need for a "food shelf".

Sad story indeed.
