Father Julian Has Arrived - Saying First Fairfax Mass Tonight At 7 PM

Father Julian arrived yesterday afternoon. As of this point, I have not met him, but will do so tonight. Jimmy Minor brought him to town and when he was going by my place, stopped in to introduce him to Maryann, so Maryann is one step ahead of me. We certainly hope his stay here in Fairfax will be a pleasant one.

Received a call from Jeannette Wills this morning who asked if I would help Father Julian when he celebrates his first Mass here in Fairfax at 7 PM tonight - I certainly hope he doesn't think all the parishioners are senile old people after he meets me.

Not sure if you are aware of it or not, but poor Jeannette had a little mishap and fractured an ankle, otherwise she would be getting every possible correct answer and guidance that Father will need during these first few weeks.

I won't be attending our Senior Luncheon tomorrow, as I have some special company coming to visit Maryann and I from Bellows Falls, but will try and make sure that Father Julian gets an opportunity to go and hopefully will enjoy it as much as Father Rome did in the following weeks.
