There are state and Federal incentives for renewal energy.  It is very expensive to install but the payback is tremendous, no more dependence on oil/gas or having those large power bills.  We've been looking into it for a couple years now.  The problem is getting a reliable company that's not booked for years in advance.  There are not enough trained people in Vermont.
