Mark Luna
(March 10, 1960 - September 3, 2008)


BERKSHIRE – Mark Damon Luna, age 48, husband of Sherrill, passed away unexpectedly as the result of a tragic motorcycle accident on Wednesday September 3, 2008 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.

Mark was born March 10, 1960 in Inglewood, CA. the son of Ramon & Pattye Luna.

As a young man, Mark served in the U.S. Air Force. He moved to Vermont in January 1996 from Yucaipa, CA and has made his home in Berkshire since 1997. He has been employed in the maintenance department at Ben & Jerry’s in St. Albans for almost 13 years.

Mark is survived by his wife, Sherrill. They were married November 27, 1981. He is also survived by his sons, Damon, John, Joseph; daughter-in-law, Yumi and his grandsons, Nico and Colin; his mother, Pattye; his sister, Terri; and his brothers, Eric & David and their families. Also many Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces and Cousins, as well as his wife’s two brothers and sisters. He was predeceased by his father, Ramon Luna; and his in-laws, Melville & Lois Cruse.

Funeral services will be held Monday September 8, 2008 at 3:00 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls. There will be no visiting hours. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
