Its So Easy To Vote Now

If you aren't registered on the Check List to vote, just give the Town Office a call at 849-6111 and they will send you a voter registration form.  Actually you can just walk in, get the form there, fill it out, the girls will put you on the checklist, give you an absentee ballot, let you go in the conference room to fill it out, you give it back to them and you are done.

Pretty simple isn't it.  When I was down there the other day, they already had over 100 people that had voted by absentee ballot.  Saves that rush before or after work on voting day.

A member of the board of civil authority then takes the absentee ballots and puts them through the voting machine on voting day.

The Town Office is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

Hours are:   Monday          9 - 4 P.M.     6 - 8 P.M
                 Tues - Friday    9 - 4 P.m   
You may register until October 29th. and you may vote absentee until Nov 3.  If you want the ballot mailed I would suggest you request a ballot by October 27.

The polls will be busy, but with the help of the civil board we will be able to accommodate everyone & hopefully get everyone through quickly.  If you have any special handicap issues,  it would be helpful if you let us know ahead so we can advise you on the best way to vote.
The Justice of the Peace will go to a nursing Home, Hospital or your own home if a request is received by 4 PM on Nov 3.
