Started my usual routine this morning, but everything came to a stand still when I tried to get on the Internet.  I unhooked everything, shut down my computer and let it set for a couple of minutes, then hooked it back up again.  Nothing!!

Retried again doing the same thing and still nothing.  Was just about to call Fairpoint when Chris Santee called me.  He was having the same problem and had been up for a while as he has a Fairfax News Deadline to meet.

Around 9:45, Maryann decided she would go in and start her computer up and play a game or two until the Visiting Nurse arrives.  She tried her e-mail and everything was working.  I then tried mine and mine is working.  Called Chris Santee, who was unaware it was back up, so he is now off and running.

A call to Fairpoint said that Area Code 802 was down when I called earlier this morning.
