Received word from our daughter in Hampton, NH that they will most likely not get power back until Sunday.  The other daughter and her family in Bellows Falls lost power this afternoon and they have not found the source of the power loss as of a short time ago.

For those of you that haven't gotten there yet, we never stop being concerned about our kids, even though they may be approaching middle age.  Our daughter and her family in Bellows Falls have their power back.  I just received a note from my middle daughter in Hampton, NH who has been without power since last Thursday night at 10 pm.  She can only use the burners on the top of her gas stove and says:

"Hi Dad,

Thought you would be entertained by the fact that I have been able to warm up the house through my own version of steam heat. I have been heating pans of water all day and the temperature has risen almost 10 degrees to a balmy 58 downstairs and 54 upstairs. Okay so it is a little moist in here, but definitely more comfortable.

Hopefully we start seeing some progress soon on the power restoration, although based on the response so far its not looking like anything will happen until early in the week.

Love,
Sharon"

Received word from my daughter in Hampton, NH around 9 p.m. that she now had power - What a relief for all of us.  The outside temperature was 18 degrees and dropping down there.
