Well another hurdle completed.  Got the Christmas Tree up yesterday.  Interesting how little jobs become such big jobs.  By the time I got the tree up from the cellar and the decorations to put on it, heard Chris Howard out plowing my driveway.  He does a great job, but I always have to remove some snow from in front of the garage door as well as the walk between the garage & house and the back entrance to my garage.  Thank God for my little electric Toro.  Hadn't planned on doing that, so that ate into the tree decorating time.  Eventually got it up.

I leave the lights on it, however in the trek up the circircular stairway, they always get shuffled around.  Will have to look into the artificial trees that have the lights already on them.  Maybe that won't happen to them and they most likely have them better arranged than I do.  I usually ask Maryann how the tree looks when I get it done.  This year, I looked at it when I finished and said, "Good Enough."  No need of asking for more work, I thought.

Still have the indoor Manger Scene to put up as well as VERY FEW Christmas decorations around the house.

As I am writing this and come to the word Christmas, I always remember one thing that I was taught when I was very young, "Never write Xmas, make sure you keep the Christ in Christmas.

With the Economy the way it is this year, many of us have much to be thankful for, so certainly will be a good year like any year to keep Christ in Christmas.
