One of our local firemen is spending New Years in The Kerbs Hospital and according to family members was operated on, on Tuesday.  Hopefully that operation will do the trick and nothing more will be required.  Not sure he would appreciate my mentioning his name on the forum, but God will know who he is.

Some of us know who it is  and wish him a very speedy recovery.

I spoke with him on the phone last night.  He seems to be in good spirits, but may be in the hospital for a while.  He says everyone is great to him.  He has newspapers brought in, all kinds of magazine and such.

I went to see Steve this morning, he looked good and acted like himself.   I told him about these posts and asked if he minded if I used his name.  He got a good laugh out of that and told me to tell everyone he should be home tomorrow, feeling pretty good, just missing a toe.
