Lawrence Alwood Tipper Sheldon Springs – Lawrence Alwood Tipper, 90, a resident of this area for fifty-eight years passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2009, at the Northwestern Medical Center with his loving family at his side. Born in Swanton, Vermont on April 15, 1918, Lawrence was the son of the late John Edward Tipper, II and Virginia (Real) Tipper. On August 17, 1940, in St. Albans, Lawrence married the former Leona Mae Domina, who survives him.

After retirement he was able to pursue his passion of auto mechanics and spent the majority of his time in his garage working on vehicles. Lawrence always put his family first.
