Important Recall On Boy Scout Popcorn

I am not a member on your forum but I am requesting as the outgoing Cub Scout Cubmaster in Fairfax that you please post the following information for me:
 
The company that manufactures popcorn that both the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts sell as a fundraiser (both Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts in Fairfax participate in this fundraiser) has recently issued a voluntary recall of the following product due to the recent salmonella incident with peanut related products:
 

 • 9.5 oz. Trail’s End® Caramel Corn with Peanuts, with code date markings of “102861 109

JAN 19 08” through “102861 297 JUL 23 09”.
 
The company's recall notice can be found here http://www.trails-end.com/TEPublic/docs/WPC_Press_Release_4Feb2009.pdf.  No other products are part of the recall. The date marking is actually found on the silver foil bag contained inside the metal container.
 
The notice can also be found at the Green Mountain Council's website, www.scoutingvermont.org.  The notice indicates that no incidents related to this product have been reported, the recall is simply a precaution.
