Maryann mentioned last night around 6 p.m. that April 15th is just around the corner. and sure enough, it is just about 5 weeks away.  Figured I had better call and make an appointment and took a chance they might still be open.

Not a problem, getting an appointment at a time convenient for me.  When I aske for 11 a.m., she said, "How about tomorrow at 11 a.m.?"

Only takes them about 20 minutes.  I chuck all the stuff Maryann has accumulated over the past year in a big manilla envelope and they just look at it, put it in different piles and away they go.  With both of us over the age of 65 and living on retirement, usually ends up we don't have nearly enough deductions to fill out the long form.

I expect by noon today, I will be on my way home and The April 15th Task out of the way.  Somehow, it doesn't seem quite as painful as that November 15th Task, but lets not get everybody started on taxes.
