I have a cell phone, but to the best of my knowledge, only my kids and wife have the number.  A few minutes ago I was sitting here at the computer and hear my cell phone ringing.  Since I don't remember the kids cell phone numbers, answered it.  It was somebody telling me that my vehicle warranty might be about to expire - I just hung up - How do these people get these numbers??

Just like your home phone you will need to register your cell phone# on the Do Not Call list.  I believe you can do it online at www.donotcall.gov.  I too started receiving these calls about a year or so ago and signed up for the do not call list and have not received any more.

Henry, you can register your cell phone numbers on the DO NOT CALL LIST at the site I attached below:

https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx

I believe telemarketers have 30 or maybe 31 days to stop calling.  Not sure about the timing,  but my calls have stopped.  GOOD LUCK!  HAPPY ST PATTYS DAY
