I was reading an article this morning about The Williston Fire Department getting pet oxygen masks and it brought me back to a couple years ago on Memorial Day when my daughter's double wide burned.  The Fairfax Firemen worked on putting out the fire, however, some of them were busy trying to coax one of Mary Kay's cats out from hiding inside the burning house.

For people that don't have pets, this may not mean much, but to those that do, they are like part of their family.  Maryann and I were over here next door at the house, very concerned about the one cat Mary Kay had left in the house and were so relieved when Mary Kay called over to tell us that one of the Fairfax Firemen had just brought the rescued cat to her.  As far as oxygen masks for pets - I certainly have no problem with that.  To read the article if you wish, you can click on the following link:
