Property Transfers For March 2009 Have Been Updated

I have updated the property transfers which now include the month of March, 2009.  Two of the propertys sold have been on the market for a long time and something very interesting.  Both of the properties sold above the Fairfax Town Appraisal.  One was apprasied at $165,900 and sold for $190,200 and the other was appraised at $198,600 and sold for $237,500.

Another property was appraised at $125,100 and sold for $155,000.

Bottom line, looks like if you are willing to wait, no need to lower the price, there apparently is always a buyer, just takes a little longer sometimes.
