Fairfax – Abraham Thomas Patry, 14, died unexpectedly on Friday August 26, 2005 in Georgia.

Abraham was born at home in Fairfax on April 13, 1991, the youngest child of Thomas Patry and Barbara Sempf.

He was a very talented and bright young man.  He enjoyed operating all the family equipment and working with his sister on welding projects.  He also loved tinkering with anything mechanical and building something  from nothing.  He was a generous and loving individual who put the needs of others before his own.   If anyone needed something he would always be the first one to volunteer…he was there to help in any way he could until the job was done.  He was a comedian.  On your worst day when everything was going wrong, just coming home and being in his presence would always put a smile on your face.  He would crack jokes until we were all rolling on the floor till our stomachs hurt.  He was always such a pleasure to be around.

He loved 4 wheeling, racecars, paintball, his dog Kahn, and any outdoor activity.  He had a passion for the racetrack and would be at the races cheering on his favorite Late Model Driver, Brent Dragon.  His favorite Enduro driver was his sister WillyJane.  He loved the roar of the engines….he would watch a car coming around turn four, wait till the car was almost even with him, and then run alongside of the track like he was going to race the car.  He had intentions of joining the Fairfax Fire Department, and he would have made the best Fireman some day.  He meant so much to all the people around him; we will love him and miss him forever.

Abraham is survived by his Dad and Mom, Thomas and Barbara of Fairfax, his sisters and brothers Nelya, WillyJane, Ivan and Jacob Patry, all of Fairfax, by his grandparents Joseph and Frances Patry of Milton, and Everett R. Williams of Mariposa, CA., by his maternal uncles and aunts Walter Andrae and his wife Eliane on Evans, Ga., Ron Sempf of Rocksprings, Wyoming, Anna Haynes and her husband Andy of Coarse Gold, CA.,  by his paternal uncles and aunts Paul Patry and his wife Peggy of St..
