Henry This story on the old Hubbert place reminded me of the contributions made to Fairfax, and particularly to BFA, by Mr. & Mrs. Hubbert in the 50's -70's era, and also the amazing athletic & academic skills of their children, Kim, Louise, Eddie and John. Eddie, by the way, played midfield in Soccer ( after we started the sport up again in 1962 ) and he entered UVM in the fall of 1966 with the intention of playing the same position . However, the Varsity Coach, Hal Greig, needed a goalie and asked Eddie to try it for a couple of games. He played four years and ended up All-Yankee Conference at that position his last two years at UVM. If that house could talk, what stories it would tell about that family and their adventures !!!
