Census workers are heading out to homes in Vermont Monday to prepare for the 2010 census by verifying and updating addresses.

John Hameline, local census office manager in Williston, says approximately 700 workers will be going door-to-door to verify the addresses.  He says field workers will be equipped with GPS computers.

Hameline also says every temporary worker will have an official ID badge with the employee's signature and an expiration date.
