Dave & Julie Filberti's weather station reports 1.40 inches of rain.  Our brook across the road has overflowed its banks, so suspect there has been some flooding around town also.  I don't have my rain gauge out yet.  Weather predictions mention lows in the twenties, which doesn't always work well with rain gauges, especially if you forgot to empty them.

I bought a new rain gauge at J&L Hardware, and I had 1.5 inches of rain.

I am going to mention this on my blog as well, but I had another 2 inches of rain from Saturday night's downpour.

The warm temperatures 2 weeks ago got me all excited to start my garden.  Everything was plowed, harrowed and tilled.  I put in some peas but only a few of them have survived the subsequent mud hole that my garden has become.

Last year May was beautiful & rather dry.  I however waited to plant until June 1st.  Most of my seeds rotten and had to be planted again due to the monsoon we had last June.  Mother nature has pulled one over on me again....
