Marselis Parsons to Retire.  Anson Tebbetts to Become WCAX News Director and Darren Perron 6 PM News Anchor

Anson succeeds Marselis Parsons, who has had a distinguished forty-two year career as Vermont's leading broadcast journalist. Under his leadership WCAX News has become the source of news trusted by more Vermonters than any other.  He will continue to anchor the 6 PM news through the summer.

I can remember when Marselis married one of the models for Nan Patrick? Abernathys?. And that was a long time ago.
He also did "Dimensions", a 60 Minutes style program on WCAX.
I wonder why Roger Garrity is not taking his spot.

I remember when Richard Gallagher was the evening news anchor.  Stuart Hall was the weather man and Tony Adams was the sportscaster.  Yikes, at least the memory still works!

I think before Richard Gallagher it was a guy by the name of J A Sullivan.  I remember J A Sullivan talking about IBM coming to town in February 1957 and how many people had filled out applications as I was filling mine out in front of the TV.   I do remember him as a skinny kid with dark rimmed glasses in those early years.
