I happened to miss it, but got a note from Richard Warren who tells me that many years ago, his father, George Warren brought home a little Blue Spruce Seedling in his dinner pail and he and Mildred planted it in their back yard.  Last week, during the heavy winds, the huge blue spruce was blown over.  When I went down through last Saturday morning, I saw Mildred out in the back yard picking up the last few remains.

Blue Spruce are a very sturdy tree and from what I could see, the tree at Mildred's was apparently blown over as it looked like a big ball of sod had been lifted.
