Williston Police say some residents have received calls from someone claiming to represent the New England Federal Credit Union. That person claims accounts have been deactivated due to suspicious activity and then asks for credit card information and pin numbers to reactivate the accounts.

Police say this is a scam. They say if you get one of these calls report it to your bank and to your local police agency.
