Fairfax Historical Society Making Good Progress On 2010 Calendar

The Fairfax Historical Society had a working meeting last night to select photos for our 2010 Calendar that we plan to sell to raise funds.  We need to get the roof fixed and the building repainted.  We will have a number of historical dates identified on the calendar.

One of the dates is kind of unique - It is the date that the caution light was installed in the center of town.  Other dates such as the 1927 flood, sale of St. Luke Church to Berardinelli's, BFA Fire and many others will all be on the calendar.

It will make a nice keepsake calendar and gift and we hope to have everything ready for the printers before long.  A special thanks to Carol Lavallee Graves for her work in preparing the photos for the printers.
