As you drive from St. Albans on Route 104 and reach Beaver Valley you will be greeted with numerous flags attached to the metal guard rail and if the wind is just right, hundreds of bright yellow streamers blowing across the road with a larger American Flag draped from a flag pole at the entrance to Gleason Road.
As you get closer you will see the sign that announces Staff Seargeant Christopher Gleason's return home from his third tour in Iraq.
Although you can't see it from the road, the house has ballons and four American Flags announcing Chris's return home.
Proud Dad, Dan Gleason, shown below as he stopped for a minute to let me take his photo. Dan told me that his son Chris enlisted immediately after 9-11.
Chris, we are proud of you and all of our other fine young men who have chosen to serve our country - Those of you that are parents of these young men, I am sure can well understand the joy that this man is feeling on the return of his son.
