Well, before you decide to conduct any business, you might want to check and see if the place is open. The Fairfax Post Office closes at noon and won't open again until Monday. Mail will be delivered today. The Fairfax Town Office is closed today also.
When I went out to get my Free Press, noticed my sister up the road already had her flag out - Boy is she energetic - I hadn't had my first cup of coffee yet. I have to take a trip to St. Albans a little later and plan to get my haircut - My barber is semi-retired, so doubt he is closed on one of his 2 1/2 days he is open.
According to the Burlington Free Press, even some of the banks are open today - Banks used to be known to take every known possible holiday off.
