Here's the best pictures I got from the storm late Thursday afternoon.


Here comes the storm.


One of the bigger size pieces we got, before it started melting.


It was dark enough, that the flash went off on my camera, lighting up the chunks of hail.


Looking at Carry Parsons' house, this is how hard it rained.


It had started melting, but you get an idea how big this piece was.


This was the storm that came during the evening, but avoided the southern part of the village.

We got called out to some smoke near Goose Pond Road.
When we got back to the station, Patrick Bessette was showing us the result of him being on Woods Hollow Road in Westford when the hailstorm hit. It sounded like someone hitting his car with a baseball bat.

Thanks Mike - Those weren't dent's in Patrick's car were they??  Hope it was just an illusion.

Those were dents. Had to have been almost a dozen dents all over his car.

 my wifes car has similar dents, she got them coming thru Westford, she said she was afraid it was going to take out the windsheild. Hope our insurance is as good as they say it is.
