Legitimate Registrations Running About 50%

Used to let people register on the forum and if they had a legitimate e-mail address, they would be automatically approved if they responded. Had to change all that and now I personally send each person that registers on the forum a note and ask them to respond, answering several questions that helps me determine if it is a legitimate registration or not.

As of late, about 50% of those that register apparently are not legitimate, as I get no response or they gave a fake e-mail address. I would say that every registered member on this forum has some connection with the town of Fairfax or one of the surrounding towns, which makes for a real good group with something in common.

The postings by numerous members has been great.

For those of you that have registered, I would encourage you to log in when you come on the forum. If you log in and use the drop down window forever, anytime that you come on the forum on the computer you log in on it will show you any new items with a darker block that says new. Saves you hunting for what's new on the forum.
