Long time neighbor & childhood friend of Lynn, Danny Gross stopped by before he went to work - On Facebook, Lynn said, "Danny Gross, one of the nicest, funniest guys I have ever met. He truly was a brother to me growing up! So glad to have him there with us."

Lynn & Mike were married on November 24, 1984 at St. Michael's College - Celebration was a little early as Mike's family lives in Massachusetts, while we live up here in the North. Family is very important to both of them and it was absolutely wonderful that all could get together.
Long time family friend Steve Ratte also stopped by - Lynn graduated from BFA-Fairfax with Steve's daughter Stephanie
Lynn & Mike with their Aunt "T" (Theresa Raymond) "T" has made a cake for just about every occasion of significance in all of our lives and this was no different. Although she is getting a bit older, she is shown above with her "God Child" Lynn and her husband Mike, on this, their 25th wedding anniversary.

Mary Kay Raymond, Mike Empey, Lynn Raymond-Empey & Sharon Raymond. Lynn's two sisters, Sharon & Mary Kay planned the Gala Event and did a fantastic job. The weather was absolutely beautiful and guests from Massachusetts and Vermont from both sides of the family were in attendance.
Mike Empey had the following comment on Facebook:
"Phew just got home from Mom and Dad R's and our surprise anniversary party, I drove back and my derriere was asleep when we got to I-91. Had a great day celebrating the best decision in my life, thanks to all but especially my beautiful wife for putting up with me for 25 years!"
Lynn Raymond-Empey had the following comment on Facebook:
"It was so nice to have our families back together for a celebration. Having them live in different states means it doesn't happen very often. It was so great to have the most important people in our life all together in one place to celebrate our 25 years. And special thanks to Mike for having the courage to ask me to be his wife after only 6 months of knowing each other. Dr. Phil says you can make the right decision, or make the decision right. I am glad in our case that we just made the right decision."
Realized after the party last night that we never got a photo of Lynn & Mike with their two boys - Boys were busy helping and taking photos of the activities themselves.
