Not a drop of rain has fallen so far this September.  But that will change as some much-needed rain moves our way along with a low pressure system that has been parked down to our south for the last few days.  Only our far southern sections will get in on this rain.  It will still stay dry to the north.

A weak cold front on Sunday will only kick up a few clouds, but it should stay dry.

Another cold front will come through Monday night with a shot of some cooler, fall-like air for Tuesday.

Meanwhile we are taking advantage of those nice Vermont tomatoes - If they could only last a couple more months.  Found one lonely Buttercup Squash at Rainville's Vegetable Stand on our way back from The Doctors yesterday, so we will be cooking that today.  Nothing like a fresh Buttercup Squash, although it does remind you that fall is just around the corner.
