Can you tell me what part of town the break ins were?  Were they in the same neighborhood or scattered around?

Gary Stewart lives near the school - I don't believe the State Police told him where the break-ins were.  Chris Santee has better connections than I do and may be able to get that information as mine comes strictly from input on my forum.

Here in Fairfax, we had five car break-ins reported to Vermont State Police
in various areas around town.

VSP are looking for a light colored (possibly gold or silver) sedan,
possibly Toyota or Honda, late 1990's.

2 bows were stolen from 2 separate cars.
Other items included electronics.

Any information, please call Trooper Harrington at 524-5993.

Lock you cars, remove valuables.
Keep your keys handy inside the house
and activate alarm if you see someone near your car.

Last evening (Wednesday) I was coming home around 11:30pm. I noticed a car pulling over next to Wheesy Way, which is near where I live so I continued on then came back, several teenage boys were getting out of the car and the lights were off. I slowed down to see what they were going to do. They watched me intently as I went by. I came back a few seconds later and they were getting back in the car.  Another car was coming, so I kept going again and decided to keep an eye on them for a bit after the car that passed me went by them they decided to leave, but left very slowly down the road toward the village.  I was going to ask them what  they were doing if they hadn't left.

It was a newer model hatchback/crossover type vehicle. A redish color it looked like it could have been two-toned. I have since forgotten the place number, but would recognize the car if I saw it. There were 3-4 kids. I don't know what they had planned. They did have the car lights off at one point, but I think were spooked by the traffic or something.  ??
