I didn't get the location, but think it was in Fletcher.  It was about 5:45 and I don't think it was anything serious, however, I remember being very scared everytime we had a chimney fire on Fairfield Ridge.  Back in those days, Fairfield had no fire department and the stove pipe ran upstairs to a short chimney.  I remember the pipe getting red hot and my parents using wet towels to cool it down.  Probably one of many chimney fires our local Fire Departments will be responding to this winter.
