New store in town/gift shop

I am interested in opening an upscale shop in town and would like to get a feel for what people would like to see and use. My idea is to have art and gift items (not to compete with the Pharmacy). Some items would include artificial orchids and some silk flowers. Sid Dickens tiles and an array of reasonably priced lamps. It would be a place to come and get a unique gift and beautifully wrapped for any occasion or just add a bit of decor to your home. I would also like to offer a few home goods, some furniture and rare items. It would also offer some deco items for different seasons. I know the economy is not the best right now but I would like to see a quaint little shop here in Fairfax. I would also carry a few fresh house plants and orchids. Please take some time to share your thoughts with me. It has to be accommodating to the residents or it will not survive. Thank you. Shelly
