Picture of the Day

Craft Fair next Saturday

WATER!!
I had half an inch of rain by around 4:30 Saturday afternoon. Nasty day all around. Yet, we shouldn't complain. It's the middle of November and it easily could have been 20 degrees colder, and it would have been 6 inches of snow. THAT would have sucked. Sunday, the temperature may hit near 60 degrees. After all this rain, I may need to mow the lawn. I never have mowed in November, but I need to have a warm breeze blowing to dry the grass.
I realize the rain was the remnants of Tropical Storm Ida, but it seems odd that no major hurricane made landfall in the US. Usually you have the daredevil media trying to withstand the storm to get the best visuals of a billboard flying through the air and smashing into something. And I'm glad they do it. Makes for great television. "There goes the billboard. And THERE goes the reporter!"

Mike...since you want to mow a lawn in November, head on down here to Tennessee.  I'll be mowing mine at least once more!
