I love these photos!

The light in the steeple is such a nice touch!  Who would have thought of that???  What a great idea!  Thank you, Pierre, for the very nice detail!  I'm still sad the old church building is gone, but the steeple, and the light keep it alive in my heart and memory.  Some very amazing things have happened in that spot in town, and it's nice to honor that. 

....and Rex!  Tell him I said, he's a gooood dog, and pet him on the head for me!  Thanks for all your photos and posts.  I know I don't say this often enough, but I really appreciate them!  Thanks for sharing a small slice of Home!

It takes an observant person like Mike Cain to take these kind of photos.  If you hadn't mentioned the light in the Steeple, I might have never noticed it.  I have spent quite a bit of time in the store looking around and the other night when I was down, the person I was talking to pointed out the short beam from The Old St. Luke's just above the hot foods display case.  I was two feet from it and never noticed it.
