Melissa L. (Hemmingway) Minor

Hyde Park, VT - Melissa Lynn (Hemmingway) Minor, 39 passed away suddenly on Thursday November 19, 2009 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington.  She was born on December 6, 1969 in St. Albans, VT daughter of Richard and Jean (Root) Hemingway.  She graduated from BFA St. Albans in 1987 and was employed by her special friend Frank Cater at Fair Ground Beverage in Essex Jct. Melissa was a loving and devoted mother, wife and friend; her compassion and laughter will be missed.

She is survived by:  Her husband Curtis Minor;  children Heaven, J.R., and Justin;  step - children Morgan, Branden and Hillary Minor;  her parents Jean (Root) and Dick Hemmingway;  siblings Christopher and Shevone;  special niece Suyaeda Jade; her Aunt Debbie Root;  many nieces, nephews and cousins;  her mother-in-law Gail Mitchell and husband Richard;  brother-in-law Larry Minor and wife Billie;  sisters-in-laws Amy Cota and Julie Mitchell and husband Gene as well as special friends Jeff and Brenda Miller, Laurie Morgan and Tanya.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday November 23, 2009 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at A. W. Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel.  No public funeral services will be held.  Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions in support of the children may be made to Curtis Minor 527 Centerville Rd. Hyde Park, VT 05655.  Arrangements are by John D. Workman, A. W.
