Thanksgiving Day

Margie made us pumpkin pies. Mmmmmmm....................HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!We are eating out Thursday, but Margie still made us a couple of pumpkin pies. I may have a piece before I go to bed, but her pumpkin pies are best cold and out of the refrigerator. Margie uses Mom's recipe, which is a basic pumpkin pie recipe, but slightly altered so the pumpkin is very firm. The pie then becomes finger food. I simply open the refrigerator door, cut a piece, and hold it in my hands while I eat it.
I will hold off until morning to have a piece. Mmmmmmmm............I can almost taste it already. Thanks, Margie!!
